Approach
Every property runs through the PAS 2035 process: assessed, designed, installed, inspected and lodged. On a programme the difference is scale and sampling, not the method.
Consultancy & programme team
Portfolio data, archetype and tenure mix reviewed, then the right funding route identified with bid-stage feasibility, carbon baselines and net zero roadmaps.
Funding strategy · feasibility · carbon baseline
Retrofit assessor
Whole-dwelling assessments by TrustMark-registered assessors: fabric build-up, heat loss, ventilation, moisture risk and condition, sampled by archetype.
PAS 2035 assessment · RdSAP model · condition report
Retrofit coordinator
A retrofit coordinator develops the improvement pathway: measure package, sequencing, interaction and moisture risk under PAS 2035 Annex B, with an MTIP where phased.
Retrofit design · MTIP · measure specification
Site team & resident liaison
PAS 2030 installers deliver to the approved design. A resident liaison officer manages access and expectations, keeping occupied homes liveable throughout.
Installed measures · site records · resident sign-off
QA inspector
Pre-install, during and post-install inspections, airtightness testing, thermal imaging and commissioning against the design, with defects closed out before sign-off.
Inspection reports · commissioning · remedial close-out
Retrofit coordinator
TrustMark lodgement, MCS certificates, updated EPCs and warranties, with a handover pack and aftercare route for client and resident alike.
Lodgement · certificates · updated EPC · handover pack
Almost all of our work is carried out around residents. A named retrofit coordinator and a resident liaison officer stay with the scheme from assessment through to handover, so the person arranging access is the person the resident already knows.
Access rates and refusals are the usual reason a programme slips, not the installation itself. We plan for that: notification letters ahead of the works, appointments booked against the installation sequence, and a route back for anything reported after sign-off.
